Sunny Face!

Just coming back from a vacation, I was inspired to do a simple sun kissed look.

To start off, I used concealer and a tinted moisturizer instead of foundation. Tinted moisturizers are great because they are very light weight, and give a more natural look.

After my base I used xpert glow to give my cheeks and nose a glowing look. Use bronzer where the sun would naturally hit. Only go a shade or two darker than your natural skin tone and use something with a slight –slight being the key word here—shimmer to catch the light.

For my eyes I used a matte shadow in a light brown that almost matches my skin tone (we want the look natural, so keep the shadow natural). You need to use a matte shadow because you’ve already used a shimmer on the cheeks. Keep everything else really natural on the eyes. I would probably go pretty light on liner. If you do use one, you should probably pick a brown one with a very slight gold shimmer.

On the lips apply a little gold lipstick (or gloss if you prefer). Not too much, just enough to highlight the look and top off that sunny glow.

A great daytime look that’s simple and natural. Light up the room with your Sunny Face!

Garden Party

Hi! I'm your mark. representative, Emily. :D

I've had in my possession some of the mark. products for a while now, and have had a lot of fun experimenting with them -- as I hope you will. Today, I'm going to be sharing with you one of my favorite looks. It's a very earthy look, and I must admit that I feel like a nymph every time I wear it.

This look should stay fairly natural. To start brush an earthy brown across your lid (Latte). Then at the corner of your lid add a green (Dragonfly), and then blend. In your crease lightly sweep a slightly deeper brown (I used tiki). Don't forget to blend!

For my lips I used my mini mark it stick in apricot and topped it off with a gold gloss from my Sydney Flip For It (the gloss in the bottom left hand corner).

As to stop repetition, let it be known that from here on out, I will be referring to the Flip For It Fall in Sydney.

If you flip to the side with the shadows you will see two shadows and a blush. Lightly sweep the blush across your cheekbones, and then for a slight shimmer, use your blush brush (from Go With The Pro brush kit) to dust Nomadic (Gold) across your face.

That's the look Garden Party. Enjoy!

Product Review: for goodness face

mark For Goodness Face
Antioxidant Skin Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30
$15

Packaging: I like the container this lotion comes in. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, it has an easy and clean dispensing system.

Product: The lotion goes on smooth and disappears into the skin quickly. I felt an immediate difference in the way my skin felt - very soft! I have used this product for a little more than a week and I love it! My pores are shrinking and my face is less red. I have fair skin and am pleased to use a moisturizer with a sun guard built in.
